Main functions

Filtration function

Effectively eliminate high harmonics and surge, the device will have low resistance for these contents, to absorb and discharge them, finally avoid the

damage to capacitor, protect circuit and capacitor from overloading, prevent capacitor over-heating, insulation medium aging, seal-healing

performance fading, shortening working life and etc.

Function of Switching without surge

Cooperated with the switch special for capacitor, it will not produce switching surge.

Respective compensation function

The respective compensation product, each of phase capacitor can be switched independently, this is to improve accuracy of compensation,

balance the reactive power as much as possible.

Measurement

Measure voltage, current, reactive power, power factor, CT phase sequence and transformer ratio, calibration, three-phase current of each

capacitor, and inner temperature.

Protection function

Protections include over-current at circuits, capacitor over-voltage, under-voltage, over-temperature, phase failure, and three-phase unbalance.

When temperature of capacitor exceed 65°, the whole capacitor will exit running, extend working life and ensure system safe.

Signaling function

Including: capacitor switching status, over/under compensation status, over/under voltage status, acted protection, and self-diagnosed fault.

Communication function

Interlink between capacitor and controller via RS-485 port, upload lots of sampling data and exchange the information with outer monitoring and

control device, become working system.

Connection function

Wire network communication and wireless network communication.

Intelligent network control

It can automatically detect and track the change of reactive power in system, and switch on/off capacitor group. The capacitors with same

capacity will be switched in turn. The ones with different capacity will be switched according to proper choice. The earliest switched-on capacitor

will be switched off; the earliest switched-off capacitor will be switched on; the capacitor with lowest temperature will be switched on in prior, running

capacitor with highest temperature will be switched in prior; if working status is constant, the capacitors will be switched in cycle every 15 minutes,

to avoid any of capacitor running long time.

Self-diagnosed function

The intelligent control unit in capacitor can diagnose its parameters, once it detects fault, the whole device will response and exit service quickly.
