BK7 optical glass plano concave spherical lens
- Simple negative lens for general use
- Focal lengths from -15 to - 300mm
- Diameters from 10 to 100mm
- Complete range of optional Anti-Reflection coatings available
This simple negative lens has many uses. Alone the lens forms a virtual image of a distant object or collimated light source. Used in combination with other optics the lens reduces the power of the system.
Sharp edges, which are common in negative lenses, are removed by beveling in order to reduce the likelihood of chipping.
This Ultra-Violet grade synthetic fused silica plano concave lens is uncoated, however a wide range of standard Anti-Reflection coatings is available.
