Environmentally Durable

The Series50RX total stations offer the industry’s highest durability that withstands the severest climates as well as the harshest work site conditions.

High Temperature Models

Dependably operates in the heat of up to +60°C (+140°F) without compromizing the low temprature range of -20°C (-4°F).

Low Temperature Models

Ensures operations in freezing climates as low as -30°C (-22°F) while maintaining the high temperature range up to +50°C (+122°F).

Complies with the highest in its class IP66 dust and water protection.

Enhanced RED-tech II EDM

Enhanced RED-tech II EDM features extremely fast measurement time and wide reflectorless measuring range from 30cm to 400m.

The Series50RX measures the distance within 4.2 seconds without a reflector, minimizing variation of measurement time due to the ranges and object types by 30 percent, compared to the original RED-tech II EDM.

Narrow visible laser beam is also used as a laser pointer; the EDM precisely measures the point the laser dot indicates.

1. Laser output level is automatically switched to Class 1 specifications in “prism” and “reflective sheet” modes to ensure safety.

2. Sokkia’s advanced absolute encoders and digital processing technologies have given the Series50RX a capability to automatically detect and correct misreading of encoder patterns.

3. The 2" model incorporates IACS (Independent Angle Calibration System) to further enhance measurement reliability.

4. Fully backlit alphanumeric keys and customizable softkeys allow quick operation in any lighting conditions.

5. An optional wireless keyboard SF14 maximizes the operation efficiency (except 6" model).
