Q: What are the differences between D type pellet mill and R type pellet mill? 

A:  D type, literally is called rotating die type while R type is called rotating roller type. Mechanically, the prominent difference lies in motion pattern of die and roller, and transmission components. In terms of price, with the same configuration (capacity, power, etc), D type pellet mill is cheaper than R type because the latter has smarter design of pelletizing process and a better gearbox, though both types of pellet mill are competent of making quality pellets.
