JN PUD-6910 Vacuum Moulding Adhesive

JN PUD-6910 has high adhesive strength, good heat resistance and excellent atomization effect, therefore it is cost-effective.. It is suitable for thermal lamination of PVC thermoplastic film,medium-density fiberboard, and Particle board as well as the vacuum mouldings of furniture parts like the doors of kitchen modules.

v  Use

1 Substrate requirement: keep moisture content of wood at around 8~12% and make wood board straight and the surface smooth. A wood density of 0.7~0.8g/cm3 is demanded so that fiber of the wood is compact rather than loose. Before spraying, blow the dust out of the concavo and convex design.

2.Glue quantity: cover 40~70/m² adhesive on the plane surface, 80~100/m² adhesive on the cross section and (a second coating is recommended).

3. The caliber of the spray gun should be around 1.5~2.0mm.

4.The optimal air-pressure of the spray gun: 0.3~0.4MPS, at such air-pressure the spray gun can produce a large air flow which displays good atomization effects and can spray a small amount of adhesive on the substrate in fan shape.

5.The softening temperature of PVC plastic film is around 110°C.

6.PVC plastic film is used in lamination and vacuum forming. However, not all film is suitable for vacuum forming. Generally speaking, film used in lamination, with a film thickness of less than 0.25mm, is not resistant to heat and is easy to shrink, while film used in vacuum forming has a film thickness of over 0.25 mm and is resistant to heat and has a relatively small shrinkability. Most of vacuum forming has back coating and has a surface tension of 34~36dyn/cm.

7.The activation temperature of film adhesive is required to reach over 60°C to ensure optimal bond strength.

v  Caution

To laminate rigid plastic film requires a relatively short pressurizing time at a medium high temperature.

To laminate soft plastic film requires a relatively long pressurizing time at a medium low temperature.

The height of the plate should be as high as that of the substrate at least, that is, generally no less than 8mm.Notice also that the distance between substrates should exceed the sum of the height of the plate and the thickness of the substrate.
