JN Pu-6600 Alcohol Ester Soluble Polyurethane Ink Resin (Ink Binder)

v  Features

JN PUD-6600 is alcohol ester soluble polyurethane resin which has high performance and non-yellowing effect, and it is also non-benzene and eco-friendly. It is suitable for gravure printing ink and flexographic ink.

1. Film-formation: The resin is a type of drying synthetic resin by solvent evaporation, demonstrating excellent solvent releasing property and film-formation ability. It generates transparent, flexible and glossy film.

2. Adhesion: It boasts of strong adhesion, and is suitable for making a variety of inks. Retention value of this product could be as high as 98% when printing on PET film, NY film and etc.; 95% when printing on OPP, BOPP, PE film and etc. after adding OPP adhesion promoter.

3. Compatibility: VC/VAc, keto-aldehyde resin, nitrocellulose and PVB resin are well soluble in the resin. But the ink may lose its adhesion if too much auxilary resin is added.

4. Thermal stability: The resin performs excellent in both high and low temperature, being able to go through 98 °C water boiled and 128 °C steam boiled for more than an hour without any negative influence on its performance. The film itself has non-yellowing effect and is of great weather resistance.

5. Printability: It is of great leveling property, transferability and printability, even when applied to offset printing.

6. Environmental friendliness: The resin contains no benzene solvent, and no benzene solvent is needed in the process of producing or using ink, hence avoiding problems as residual toxic solution like benzene. It is an environmental friendly ink resin comparing to benzene ink resin such as CPP(chlorinated polypropylene) and polyamide resin.

v  Typical Uses of the Product

The resin has strong adhesion to a variety of films like PP, PE, PET and nylon film. It is compatible with a variety of auxilary resins such as VC/VAc, polyketone resin, nitrocellulose and etc. It is soluble in various solvents and mixed solvents such as alcohol, ester, ketone, hydrocarbons and etc. Besides, it is an evenly dispersed, develops the color well. It is highly transparent, and it resists medium well,.All these qualities make it an ideal ink binder for plastic films. The ink made of it is applicable to gravure printing, flexography printing, overprinting and etc.

1. When applied, JN PUD-6600 Alcohol Ester Soluble Polyurethane Ink Resin will demonstrate its best quality only when the ink is completely dried and the solvent is completely evaporated.

2. JN PUD-6600 Alcohol Ester Soluble Polyurethane Ink Resin is required to be tested and confirmed to be compatible with other resins and pigments before application. Please pay attention not to its compatibility with acidic resins, pigments and dyes . Don not mix with water.

3. The company is only responsible for the quality of the resin per se but not responsible for its use. Therefore, it is highly recommended to conduct a test before applying this product.

v  Packing and storage

1. Package: 25-180kg/drum (iron drum). It can be packed as per the customer’s requirements.

2. Storage: Store indoors under room temperature. Protect it against fire, water and explosion.
