Product Description: This compact cable is an expert in high-load transmission. With an outer diameter of just 4.0-4.3mm, this 6mm2 single-core cable is designed specifically for automotive high-voltage systems, delivering powerful power transmission in an extremely compact package. Its conductor is stranded 99.99% high-purity oxygen-free copper with a cross-sectional area of 6mm2. Its DC resistance is ≤3.08Ω/km at 20°C, and it can stably carry 35-40A of continuous current, meeting the power demands of medium-power devices such as electric vehicle battery packs, motor controllers, and fast-charging modules.
The cable's insulation layer is made of 125°C-grade cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) and has passed triple testing for oil, acid, alkali, and ozone resistance. After immersion in 100°C engine oil for 72 hours, the insulation retains >90% of its tensile strength. It withstands extreme chemical environments with a pH range of 1-14, exhibiting no surface bulging or cracking. After testing in a 50pphm ozone environment, no visible cracks were observed. Its minimum bend radius of only 20mm (5D) allows for sharp turns in confined spaces such as behind instrument panels and in chassis wiring harnesses. Combined with an automated crimping process, the terminal contact resistance is less than 5mΩ, ensuring connection reliability in vibration-resistant environments.
This cable complies with ISO 6722:2011, "Road Vehicles - 60V and 600V Single-Conductor Cables." The conductor twist pitch tolerance is controlled within ±5%, and the insulation thickness uniformity exceeds 98%. Typical application scenarios include jumpers within high-voltage distribution boxes in new energy vehicles, power input cables for onboard chargers (OBCs), and power lines for heat pump and air conditioning compressors. The unshielded design reduces costs and cable weight by approximately 15%, offering a flexible option for lightweight vehicle body designs.
