Sterilizer CE marking standard

EN 60335-1: "Safety of electrical appliances for domestic and similar purposes . Part 1: General Requirements", specifies the general safety requirements for sterilizers, including electrical safety, mechanical safety and fire performance.

EN 55014-1: "Electromagnetic compatibility . Requirements for household appliances, power tools and similar electrical appliances. Part 1: Interference emission . Standard for Product Classes", which limits the electromagnetic interference emissions of sterilizers to ensure that they do not cause harmful interference to other electronic equipment in the vicinity.

EN 55014-2: "Electromagnetic compatibility . Requirements for household appliances, power tools and similar electrical appliances. Part 2: Immunity. Product Category Standard", stipulates the anti-electromagnetic interference capability that the sterilizer should have, so that it can work stably in the normal use environment without being affected by electromagnetic interference from other equipment.

EN 61000-3-2: "Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Part 3:Limit values . Section 2:Limit values for harmonic current radiation (equipment input current of 16A/phase)", regulates the harmonic current radiation of electrical equipment such as sterilizers, limiting their harmonic current emissions to protect the power quality of the grid.

EN 61000-3-3: "Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Part 3-3: Limit values. Limits for voltage fluctuations and flicker in public low-voltage power supply systems (for equipment with rated currents less than and equal to 16A)" ensures that sterilizer cabinets will not cause voltage fluctuations and flicker, which will affect the normal operation of other equipment when connected to low-voltage power supply systems.

In addition, besides the above standards, CE certification of sterilizer cabinets may also need to meet the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2014/35/EU and Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC) 2014/30/EU and other related directives.
