Establishment of Communication Link:
Communicates with the Control Processor (CP) via a redundant 2Mbps module fieldbus (dual paths A/B), receiving control instructions from the system (such as 4-20mA output values and fault-safe configurations). The communication protocol supports real-time data interaction to ensure the reliability of instruction transmission (such as CRC check and dual-path redundancy switching).

Data Decoding and Caching:
Received digital signals (such as percentage of engineering quantities and output mode instructions) are decoded and stored in the module buffer for further processing. The module supports online reception of parameter modification instructions (such as range adjustment and output mode switching).

Core Process of Digital-to-Analog Conversion:
Digital signals in the buffer are converted into analog electrical signals through a 16-bit DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter). Taking current output as an example, digital values (such as 0-32767) correspond to 4-20mA current signals (for example, digital value 0 corresponds to 4mA, and 32767 corresponds to 20mA), while voltage output corresponds to standard ranges such as 0-5V and 1-5V.

Signal Conditioning and Calibration:
The converted analog signals are amplified by an operational amplifier, high-frequency noise is eliminated by a filter circuit, and then the accuracy is calibrated (±0.05% full scale) through a precision resistor network to ensure the stability of the output signal. For current output, the module has a built-in constant current source to avoid the influence of load changes on the signal.

Electrical Isolation Design:
Adopting optocoupler isolation technology, the internal digital circuit is isolated from the output analog circuit (isolation voltage ≥500V DC) to prevent field equipment failures (such as short circuits) from affecting the DCS system, while suppressing electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Drive and Load Matching:
After passing through the power drive circuit, the analog signal is output to the field actuator through terminals. Taking 4-20mA current output as an example, the module supports a maximum load resistance (such as 500Ω) to ensure that the signal does not distort during long-distance transmission.

Fault Safety Mechanism (Fail-Safe):
When the module detects communication interruption, power failure, or internal circuit abnormality, it automatically triggers the preset fault safety mode:
