Core functions: The 4119A module is a host processor module. As the core brain of the TRICONEX control system, it is responsible for executing the control logic program written by the user, performing operations, processing and analysis on various types of data collected by the input module (such as analog quantities, digital quantities, pulse quantities, etc.), and then issuing control instructions to the output module. To achieve precise control of the industrial production process.
Application scenarios: Widely applied in industries such as petrochemicals, power, metallurgy, and natural gas. In the field of petrochemicals, it can be used to control the operation of key equipment such as oil refining units and chemical reactors. In the power industry, one can participate in the control of generator sets and the automated management of substations, etc.
Functional characteristics
Powerful computing and processing capabilities: Equipped with high-performance processors, it has rapid data processing and logical operation capabilities, capable of handling a large amount of input data in a short time and executing complex control algorithms, ensuring the real-time performance and response speed of the system, and meeting the demands for rapid decision-making and control in industrial production.
Three Modular Redundancy (TMR) architecture: It adopts the classic three Modular redundancy design, with three independent processor channels integrated inside the module, and each channel processes the same data and programs in parallel. The processing results of the three channels are compared and judged through a voting mechanism. When the results of at least two channels are consistent, the result is output. This design significantly enhances the reliability and fault tolerance of the module. Even if one of the channels fails (such as hardware damage, software errors, etc.), the module can still operate normally and output correct control instructions, effectively reducing the risk of system shutdown or misoperation due to a single point of failure, and meeting the SIL3 safety integrity level requirements.
Rich communication interfaces: Supports multiple communication protocols and interfaces, such as Ethernet interfaces, serial ports, etc., facilitating data interaction and communication with other devices and systems. It can communicate with the upper computer monitoring system in real time and upload data such as the system operation status and fault information to the monitoring center. At the same time, it can also receive control parameters and instructions issued by the upper computer to achieve remote monitoring and management. Collaborative work with other modules
In coordination with input modules: It is connected to analog input modules (such as 3700A), digital input modules, etc. through the backplane bus to obtain various status information and process parameters of on-site equipment in real time, which serves as the basis for control decisions.
In coordination with the output module: The processed control instructions are sent to the analog output module (such as 3806E), digital output module, etc. The output module drives the on-site actuators, such as control valves, motors, relays, etc., to achieve control of the industrial production process.
In coordination with the communication module: By leveraging the communication module, communication with external devices and systems is achieved, further expanding the system's functions and application scope, such as data interaction and integration with SCADA systems, DCS systems, etc.
