Chain driven wire mesh conveyor belt shows variety of sizes, models and materials according to the working environment of the product it carries. Chain driven conveyor belts provide more smooth flow than regular woven conveyor belts driven tumblers. With proper gear and chain fit,the conveyor belt is both long-lasting and its high weight capacity allows easy drive in desired lines. It is mainly used for heavy transmissions. For example, transferring products through tempering or cooling ovens or when hot products are handled and conveyed. The chain belts are usually made from either steel or stainless steel with varying degrees of weave and pitch position. Chain conveyor mesh belt is now the main form of transport, mainly composed of two side chain, with all the specifications. In the middle with connecting rod, strengthen the load ability of the conveyor belt as a whole. The chain driven conveyor belts is composed of wire mesh, cross rods and chains.

This mesh belt edge is driven by chain to ensure transmissive stability and to increase the durability of the belts,which can be used in the -55℃ to 1200℃ temperature range.It is mainly applied to the ovens, quenching furnaces, cleaning machines, frying machines, quick-freezing machines and other dynamic temperature equipment. Chain Weave Conveyor belts assure positive, true forward movement under the most difficult conditions. Rugged and durable Conveyor Belts. Chain Drive Conveyor Belts are used in heat treating, metalworking, food processing, snack food, ceramics and various other applications. They are efficient in any conveying application where the advantages to positive drive contribute to a more effecient operation.  Conveyor belt tracking and conveyor belt alignment are simplified with this belt style. The conveying application range is greatly increased by using an RISEN Chain weave Conveyor Belt.

Under moderate temperatures chain drives are very desirable and actually do the driving, the belt itself being used as a conveying medium only.   For high temperature work where chain drive is desirable the belt  is constructed with a chain of special heat resistant alloy.  Practically any link chain or roller chain may be used.  

Applications include Foundry Conveyor Belts, Forging Conveyor Belts, Heat Treating Conveyor Belts and more.  

RISEN Chain Drive belts are constructed by any of the chain listed below, including Roller Chain, Engineering Series Roller Chain and Pintle Chain Bars, angles, channels, rods, pipe or tubing are go thru the mesh and into the eye of the chain acting as the chain pin. For tight woven wire mesh Bars and Channels are used and welded or bolted to the mesh.   

Flex Plate Edges (also known as sideguards or sidewings can be attached to the edges of the conveyor belt.  On our tightly woven wire mesh styles, we also offer Flanged Upturned mesh edges. Flights or Dividers can be welded across the width of the Conveyor Belt.

ROLLER CHAIN SERIES CHAINWEAVE CONVEYOR BELTS 

Standard or Extended Pitch Roller Chain Conveyor belts are used primarily for handling light and medium loads.Among typical uses for these positive drive conveyor belts are removal of heat treated parts from quench baths, washing and drying applications and the handling of products in the food processing industry. Listed below are the Roller Chains available for Risen's Roller Chain Series of Chainweave conveyor Belts.

RC-35, RC-40, RC-50, RC-60, RC-80, C2040, C2042, C2050, C2052, C2060, C2062, C2080, C-2082 is all available.

Roller chains can be combined with any RISEN metal wire mesh to create an RISEN Chain Weave Conveyor Belt.  Standard construction on the roller series  has RISEN Mesh, with a rod inserted through the mesh and the eye of the chain or though the midpitch (sideplate) of the chain.   If a cordweave mesh (which is a very tightly woven mesh is required) then attachments are put on the chain, and bars/channels/tubes are connected to the chain underneath the mesh, rather than a rod through the mesh.

ENGINEERING SERIES ROLLER CHAIN CHAINWEAVE CONVEYOR BELTS

The Engineering Series Roller Chain conveyor belt is similar to the extended pitch roller chain but is of heavier construction and greater strength. It has greater clearances then precision roller chain and is specifically engineered for use in applications or environments where dirt accumulation or inadequate lubrication may occur.  It is typically used in handling heavy loads in washing and drying, for quench bath operations, for handling heavy stampings and forgings and similar work.

PINTLE CHAIN SERIES CHAINWEAVE CONVEYOR BELTS

The Pintle Chain metal wire mesh conveyor belt is used in applications involving product conveyance at moderate speeds in a wide range of process equipment.  It is adaptable to operation at elevated temperatures with minimum maintenance and for use where dirt or insufficient lubrication may cause problems with other types of chain. Typical applications for light duty pintle chain include conveying paper ,food products, and light metal parts.  Heavy pintle chain is used  in continuous draw furnaces and for conveying heavy product loads including Foundry and Forging Applications.

Any of the Pintle Chains can be combined with any RISEN wire mesh to create an RISEN Pintle Chainweave Conveyor Belt. This is a sturdy construction and is good for forgings and stampings dropping on to a belt to cool.

EDGES: 

Mesh Upturned Edges and Plate edges available.

Flex Plate Edges are available in a height from 1" to 5" high.
