The opening and closing parts of the globe valve is plug-shaped disc, the sealing surface is flat or conical, and the valve disc moves in a straight line along the center line of the valve seat. The movement form of the valve stem, (general name: Non rising stem), also has lifting and rotating rod type, (common name: rising stem) globe valve refers to the valve whose closing part (disc) moves along the center line of the valve seat. According to the movement of the disc, the change of the valve seat opening is proportional to the disc travel. Because the opening or closing stroke of the valve stem is relatively short, and has a very reliable cut-off function, and because the change of the valve seat opening is proportional to the stroke of the valve disc, it is very suitable for the flow regulation. Therefore, this type globe valve is very suitable for shut-off or regulation and throttling.

Product features:

1. The structure of globe valve is simpler than that of gate valve, and the manufacture and maintenance are more convenient.

2. The sealing surface is not easy to wear and scratch, and has good sealing performance. When opening and closing, there is no relative sliding between the valve disc and the sealing surface of the valve body, so the wear and scratch are not serious, the sealing performance is good, and the service life is long.

3. When opening and closing, the stroke of the disc is small, so the height of the globe valve is smaller than that of the gate valve, but the structural length is longer than that of the gate valve.

4. When the nominal pressure PN ≤ 16MPa, the forward flow is generally adopted, and the medium flows from the lower direction of the valve disc; when the nominal pressure PN ≥ 20MPa, the reverse flow is generally adopted, and the medium flows downward from the upper direction of the valve disc, so as to increase the sealing element energy. In use, the medium of the globe valve can only flow in one direction, and the flow direction cannot be changed.

5. The axis of the valve stem is perpendicular to the sealing surface of the valve seat. The opening or closing stroke of the valve stem is relatively short, and has a very reliable cut-off action, which makes this valve suitable for cutting off or regulating and throttling of medium.
