German technical background VOK?- AP RDS sheet silicate
German technical background VOK?- AP RDS is a synthetic sheet silicate added with inorganic polyphosphate peptide. Its hydrate swells in water to form a clear colorless colloidal dispersion, called sol. When the concentration in water is 10%, free flow can be maintained for 24 hours. A small amount of electrolyte is added to form a high thixotropic gel.
Recommended use
German technical background Volcker VOK?- AP RDS can be used as pre dispersed liquid concentrate slurry and added to the formula at any stage of production. It is used to provide shear sensitive structures in various water-based formulations, including household and industrial surface coatings, detergents, agrochemicals, and horticultural products. VOK?- AP RDS can be stretched or coated with concentrated sol on other surfaces to form a smooth, continuous and conductive coating film.
