German technical background VOK ?- DF A560 polymer defoamer, without organic silicon, is used for solvent free unsaturated polyester system, gel coat and cast resin. Recommended for various glass fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester applications. It is also recommended for pultrusion of acrylic, unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins.

Product features and advantages

VOK ?- DF A560 has good defoaming property and excellent fiber infiltration. In some resins, defoamers may cause fogging of finished parts.

Recommended use

VOK ?- DF A560 is recommended for various glass fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester applications. VOK ?- DF A560 also shows good defoaming performance in some gel coats, especially in systems using airless spraying process. VOK ?- DF A560 is commonly used for glass fiber infiltration in resin transfer molding (RTM) and resin injection processes.

Recommended dosage

0.2-0.5% of auxiliary dosage (form of supply) is based on the general formula.

Pultrusion process

Product features and advantages

Prevent air from mixing in the production and application (pultrusion) of plastic system, thus improving fiber infiltration.

Recommended use

Recommended for acrylic, unsaturated polyester or vinyl ester resin systems.

Recommended dosage

0.3% auxiliary dosage (supply form) with 0.2% VOK ?- DF A555 is used for deaeration, based on the total amount of resin.

0.5% auxiliary dosage (supply form) is used for fiber wetting, based on the total amount of resin.
