 1.Hybrid ceramic ball bearing 

Ceramic hybrid bearings have steel races and ceramic balls. Ceramic balls are suitable for applications where high loads, high speeds and extreme temperatures are factors. Long life and the need for minimal lubrication make this material appropriate for extreme applications. Ceramic is non-porous, non-magnetic, non corrosive and lighter than steel. In ball form, ceramic balls are also harder than steel and because ceramic balls are non-porous they are virtually frictionless and capable of spinning faster than steel balls.

Ceramic bearing balls can weigh up to 40% less than steel ones, depending on size and material. This reduces centrifugal loading and skidding, so hybrid ceramic bearings can operate 20% to 40% faster than conventional bearings.

3.Temperature Range

Standard bearings reduce their hardness and fatigue lives when they are continuously used in high operating temperatures.  Silicon nitride (Si₃N₄) is suitable to be used in high temperature environments without loss of its hardness and life endurance.  With its rings made of special steel for high temperatures, hybrid bearings with ceramic balls are successfully used in the field of high temperatures.
