QABP series three-phase induction motors for frequency converter are designed for use in various industrial areas such as light industry, textile, chemical, metallurgical and machine tool industries. Where ever variable speed driven equipment is used.
QABP series three-phase induction motors for frequency converter are designed for use in various industrial areas such as light industry, textile, chemical, metallurgical and machine tool industries. Where ever variable speed driven equipment is used.
The QABP motors have a special copper wire insulation that makes them suitable for operations with frequencies between 5 and 100Hz.
Questions and Answers for Use of QABP
Q: Many standard motors mentioned in the specifications indicate that motor speed can be adjusted via directly installing a frequency converter, why the specific frequency-conversion motors are still desired?
A: If standard motors vary the speed by the frequency converter within certain frequency, the frequency scope, voltage and power will be limited to some extent, frequency conversion can not be conducted among 5~100Hz, so continuous variable transmission is impossible, only specific frequency conversion motors are capable of realizing these function.
Q: What happened if standard motors vary the speed via directly using the frequency converter?
A: No account is taken into the needs of variable speed of standard motors during the structural and electromagnetic design, motors performance and reliability will be damaged if the frequency converter is forced to install on the motor to adjust the speed, in this case, when motors operate for a long time, that will effect the operation of the whole equipment and result in the faulty and shutdown, even damage the equipment.
