The pervious hole is located on the roof of the tank for lighting and ventilation during tank installation and cleaning. The daylighting of the oil tank is set on the top of the tank, which is generally a direct round hole of 500mm, usually with a hole cover ring tightly sealed with bolts. When cleaning and repairing oil tank, it is used for lighting, ventilation and exhaust gas. In addition, when the operating device of the safety valve fails, the safety valve can be opened by means of the cable tied to the light hole. When there is only one transparent hole on the tank top, it should be located on the tank top above the oil inlet and outlet pipelines. When two pervious holes are set, the pervious holes and manholes should be evenly distributed along the circumference as far as possible to facilitate lighting and ventilation, but at least one pervious hole should be located near the tank roof platform. The outer edge of the pervious hole should be 800~1000mm away from the tank wall. The upper part of the pervious hole is connected with the vent hole and is usually closed with the eye ring blind plate. When cleaning and repairing oil tank, open the eye flap and open the air hole, then mechanical ventilation can be carried out inside the tank.
