Product Description
TACSR : Thermal-resistant Aluminum-alloy Conductor, Steel Reinforced
Application
TACSR covers thermal-resistant aluminum alloy stranded conductors steel reinforced which could withstand high tensile
load to be used mainly for overhead transmission lines, overhead distribution wire.
Construction
The center wire or wires are of galvanized steel and the outer layer or layers of thermal-resistant aluminum-alloy.
Specifications
TACSR bare conductors meet or exceed the following specifications:
TACSR confirm to TEC, JEC 3406. ISO 9001, ISO14001.
TACSR : Thermal-resistant Aluminum-alloy Conductor, Steel Reinforced
Notes:
Resistance is calculated using ASTM standard increments of stranding and metal conductivity of 61.2% IACS for EC (1350) and 8% IACS for steel. AC (60Hz) resistance includes current dependent hysteresis loss factor for 1 and 3 layer constructions.
Current ratings are based on 75centigrade conductor temperature, 25centigrade ambient, 2ft/s wind, 96/watts/sq. Ft sun, 0.5 coefficients of emissivity and absorption.
