WD12/10 outdoor cup type wind speed sensor and wind direction sensor weather station with RS485 Output

Installation and use

(1) The wind speed and wind direction sensors should be installed vertically on a cross arm that is more than 1 meter apart.

(2) The lower part of the sensor is sleeved on a boring bar with a diameter of less than φ60mm, and 120° is evenly divided into three M5 thread mounting locations.

(3) When installing the wind vane, the wind bar should pass through the wind direction sensor's wind direction cap first, and install the balance weight next to the wind direction cap's mark. Level the sensor and shake the rod to balance the balance weight and vane. Adjust the wind vane perpendicular to the ground and tighten the brake screw on the wind direction cap fixing the wind direction rod.

(4) The top of the wind sensor has a north pointing sign, which should be aligned with the north when installed.

(5) After the wind sensor is adjusted to zero position, do not loosen the brake screw between the wind direction cap and the spindle.

(6) It is recommended that the wind speed and direction sensor inject oil into the bearing once a year. When oiling, remove the hood and inject the oil from the upper bearing of the sensor.
