ST280 coating thickness gauge could be widely use for manufacturing,
metal processing industry, chemical industry, commodities inspection etc..It is necessary instruments material protection.
ST280 coating thickness gauge adopt two thickness measure methods:Magnetic and eddy current, could non-destructive measure nonmagnetic cover thickness (such as Zinc, aluminum, chromium, copper, silver, rubber,oil varnish etc..) covered magnetic metal substrate without damage ( such as steel ,iron,Alloy and hard magnetic steel etc )
And it can also use for measure non-conductive cover thickness(such as rubber,oil varnish, plastic ,anodic oxide coating etc..) on the nonmagnetic metal substrate (such as Copper, aluminum, zinc, tin)
Technical parameters of ST280 coating thickness gauge probe
Magnetic induction can be used to measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings on all magnetic substrates (such as steel, iron, alloys and hard magnetic steels) (eg chromium, zinc, copper, aluminum, tantalum, rubber, paint, etc.)
Eddy currents can be used to measure the thickness of non-conductive coatings on all non-magnetic metals (such as copper, aluminum, zinc, tin, stainless steel, etc.) (eg, tantalum, rubber, paint, anti-corrosion, oxide, plastic, etc.).
Measuring range: (0~1250) μm (F1, N1 probe), F10 probe up to 10mm;
2. Resolution: 0.1μm (F1, N1 probe)
3. Indication accuracy: ±(3%H+1) μm; H is the thickness of the measured coating
