China cassava starch machine for cassava starch production

Cassava starch is produced from fresh cassava roots by wet-milling method. The whole cassava starch machine is comprised of six major sections: washing & cleaning equipment, cutting and crushing equipment, separating equipment, concentrating and refining equipment, dehydrating equipment and drying equipment.

1. Washing and cleaning machine
The firstly used cassava starch machine is the cleaning equipment-dry sieve. It is mainly used for removing sand, small stones, dirt and other attached impurities from cassava. The dry sieve is designed with reasonable rotating speed which ensures a stable running and reduce the damage to material. After cleaning, the cassava will be washed in the paddle washing machine. This cassava starch extraction equipment adopts the countercurrent washing principle. In this way, the cassava in the washing tank flows in the reverse direction against the water, thus the cassava is washed thoroughly.

2.Cassava grinding machine
Grinding is an important process in the cassava starch production line. Therefore grinding machine is an important cassava starch machine. DOING raper is an high efficient grinding machine which can fully grind cassava into slurry. This machine adopts bidirectional grinding design which ensures a higher grinding coefficient.

3. Separating machine
cassava starch machine for separating includes centrifuge sieve and fine fiber sieve which is used for separating fiber and starch. The centrifuge sieve takes use of high speed centrifugal force to separate the fiber with starch. In cassava starch production line, we usually take multi centrifuge sieve for a better separating effect. Then the starch need to be further processed in fine fiber sieve whose function is to remove fine fiber out of starch slurry.

4.Concentrating and refining machine
After separating, the starch slurry still need to be concentrated and refined. In this section, the mainly used cassava starch machine is hydrocyclone station. The main function of hydrocyclone is to remove the fine fiber, protein and cell sap out of starch slurry to make the final starch meet the standard. The hydrocyclone station is composed of several units(the unit number depends on customer's needs) connected in series. The hydrocyclone pipe of DOING is made from material of strengthened nylon.

5. Cassava dewatering machine
Cassava dewater machine is mainly used for reduce the water content of cassava starch. The most widely used cassava starch machine for this process is peeler centrifuge. Afte the dewatering process, the water content of wet starch is about 38%.

6. Drying and packing machine
The dewatered starch is sent to the flash dryer through the screw conveyor for drying. Flash dryer is a cassava starch machine takes use of the high speed hot air to dry cassava starch which is completed just in a few seconds. The whole system is under negative pressure, no dust and energy saving. The moisture content of starch after drying is between 12 and 14%, reaching the standard of finished products. And the starch is packed by automatic packing machine. The whole cassava starch processing line is completed.
