Normal Temperature Zinc Film Forming Agent for iron and steel phosphating treatment

Brief Introduction

JH-8031 is normal temperature zinc phosphating solution,suitable for phosphating treatment for iron and steel products,the thinkness of film is 1~2um.The thickness of film is affected by metal surface conditions,cleaning method and processing condition.

JH-8031 suitable for cathodic electrodeposition,to get best phosphating film.Also it suitable for any kind of paints and powder coating.

Preparation of tank liquid

Add three-quarters of cold water into working tank, add 50-60kg JH-8031A phosphating solution.Also add 3-4kg JH-YDM-2 accelerant.

Preparation of tank liquid

Adjust 1000L total acid

With continuous working, total acid will drop, should inspect regularly and supplement, add 3kg of JH-8031B film forming agent, total acidity increased by 1 point. If the total acidity is too high, you can stop feeding, remain normal production, after a period of time to return to normal bath.

If free acid too high, can add sodium carbonate(or caustic soda) to adjust, usually add every 0.53kg sodium carbonate(or 0.4 caustic soda),can decline free acid 1 point. If the free acid to low, can add phosphoric acid to adjust, usually add every 0.85kg phosphoric acid, can increase free acid by 1 point.

The reason cause the film to thin:

Total acid

Use pipette to move 10 ml solution to conical flask, add 3 to 4 drops of phenolphthalein indicator, then titrated with 0.1N NaOH , until the color from colorless to stable red, then the wasting 0.1N NaOH is the total acidity bath.

????Free acid

Use pipette to move 10 ml solution to conical flask,add 3 to 4 drops of bromorphenol blue indicator,then titrated with 0.1N NaOH,until the color from light yellow to light blue,then the wasting 0.1N NaOH is the total acidity bath.
