APP Rubber bituminous waterproofing membrane , foundation waterproof membrane

Product feature:

Application

Applicable to industrial and civil architecture roofing and underground waterproofing engineering and roads, Bridges and other building waterproof engineering, especially in high temperature environment of building waterproof project.

Construction Process:

● Requirement of basement layer;
Basement layer must be level off, clean, dry, the moisture content should be less than 9%, then brush the basement layer surface evenly with cold priming oil, continue constructing after it is dried.

● Direction and Order to construct the membrane:
To spread from roof first；in case on the same level, to spread far place first, close place second. Spread from the lower place first if on the same plane.
To spread parallel to the ridge when slope <3％；To spread parallel or vertical to the ridge when slope is 3％-15％；To spread vertical to the ridge when slope>15％.

● Way to construct:
-By hot melting:
To heat the bottom of membrane and the basement plane by using flame gun evenly, when the asphalt on the surface be melted and turn to be the color of gloss black, to spread the membrane and keep heating. Then compress tightly the membrane by roller. At this stage, control the speed of the flame, to keep the temperature of asphalt between 200-250℃. When the construction completed, overlap edge should be reoccupied by cold adhesive.

-By cold bonding:
To scrape Polymer modified asphalt mastic or cold mastic evenly on the basement plane by rubber blade, compressing membrane by using the roller to clear out the air while spreading the membrane. When the temperature is lower than 15℃,the overlap edge and the close head should be constructed by hot melting.

● Overlap processing:
For long side overlap: single layer≥100mm,double layer≥80mm;
For short side overlap: single layer≥150mm,double layer≥100mm.
It needs to be pasted evenly, avoid any non-melted or non-pasted area. Less spare melted asphalt or cold bonding material extrusion is acceptable and reasonable.

● Checking after construction:
Check all thoroughly after construction completed. Be sure the waterproofing layer has no bubble, bucking, fall-off and shell. It should be smooth to guarantee the shelf life of the waterproofing layer.

Storage, transportation and packing:

1. Different kinds and specifications should be place separately. Avoid exposed to sun and rain. Be ventilated, the storage temperature should not over than 50℃, to place by standing-up,not over than 2 layers；
2. When transport by train or vessel,membrane should be placed by standing-up, not over than 2 layers,avoid slant or lateral pressure, cover by cloth if necessary；
3. Under normal storage and transportation condition,shelf life 12 months.
