The product showed in picture is assembled with turned part (the material can be brass, steel or aluminum) and silver contact, therein the contact material is AgNi10. The performances of AgNi10 are under the influence of the shape and size of elements and Ni grain as well as the distribution in Ag matrix. In the extrusion process, the material takes on microstructure of strong anisotropy when extrusion ratio reaches a certain ratio. This strong optimizing orientation selectivity decides the final properties of materials. The burning arc resistance of the materials in the direction of pressing is better than that in the vertical direction. Ag and Ni cannot dissolve in each other, so that the electricity, heat and chemical properties take on considerable additive property. In the manufacturing process of AgNi10, we achieve satisfying results in the way of focusing on resolving the influence on material structure brought by the size, shape and distribution of Ni grain.
