Mica Tape

Mica tape is laminated with different backing materials (glass cloth, polyester film, polyimide film, ceramic fiber paper, etc.) to get mica tape.

It is applied as insulation of motors, generators, wires and cables.

a) Ceramic Fiber Mica Tape (plates)

It is laminated from ceramic fiber, glass cloth and phlogopite/ synthetic mica paper.

Main Properties : Low shrinkage, excellent thermal resistance, good corrosive and wearing resistance, good aseismatic property, with no asbestos or noxious contents. .

Widely used for aseismatic and thermal insulation of electrical Apparatus, heat insulation and fireproof layers in industrial Furnaces, many equipments.

Available Width : 5-1000mm
Available Thickness : 20.3mm,30.3mm and other thickness

b) Fire-resistant Mica Tape

Phlogopite/synthetic mica laminated with glass cloth(some types are with film), used for fire-resistant cable.

Temperature resistance : 750-1000

Width : 4.5-880mm
Length : 500m,1000m,2000m,5000m,10000m,20000m

c) Other Mica Tapes(Class B F H C)

Glass cloth backed type/Polyimide film backed/ Polyester film backed
Used in motors, transformers, etc.
