Priority muting function is achieved via MIC 5 and EMC 1 for overriding music for paging and emergency alarming. Each of the six input channels can be selected via front panel pushbuttons for use with the MIC input, in this way the T-6218 can be used to page individual channel. Priority muting is achieved via EMC 1, 2 for overriding background music for emergency alarming. Individual gain controls and master control are provided for each channel and MIC inputs. The T-6240 has all the above features with the addition of two more inputs for a total of eight line level inputs and one MIC input.
