Brief Introduction of Drum Wood Chipper
This series drum chippers are extremely robust machines with modern design, suitable for the chipping of round logs, waste wood, bamboo, slabs, planks, log end pieces, pallets etc.
Wood chipper works
The feed material is continuously fed into the chipper by means of a batch feeder or vibratory feed trough. Toothed draw-in rollers with a good grip characteristic draw the feed material into the chipping chamber at a continuous speed. There it is size reduced by a very robust rotor into quality chips and discharged through a stable screen.
Wood chipper uses
By the processing, these feed-in materials are turned into high quality, uniform, and multi-application wood chips, which are ideal materials for the manufacture of particle board, MDF and paper pulp. The chips are also well suited as fuel for high intensity burning in modern heating plants.
