Wood briquette production line

The whole charcoal production line mainly includes four needed machines: crusher, dryer, briquette making machine and carbonization furnace.

Raw material:

Any types of Agroforestry waste and forest waste can be used for make briquettes Such as maize stalks, soybean stalks, broomcorn stalks, cotton stalks, rape stalks, peanut plants, sunflower stalks, bamboo sawdust, bagasse , wood chips, rice husk, coffee husk, coir pith, jute sticks, groundnut shells, Bamboo, wood, straw dust, Mustard stalk and cotton stalks ,nutshell, coconut shell ,etc 

Final product:

1This biofuel briquette is 45to80mm in diameter, occurs in the hollow quadrangular or hexagonal cylinder or hollow hexagonal with a 15-20mm hole through the body.

2)The available shape: square, hexagonal, pentagon, pentagon with edge, hexagon with edge

3)The available diameter could be: 50mm,55mm.60mm,65mm.70mm.80mm and so on

4)The available length could be :20cm,30cm, 40cm, 50cm

Application:

As the need of pollution free environment, the product has a large scope of marketing. The briquettes can be used as a substitute of any fuel in following fields :

Boilers : It can be used in the boilers of Paper Mills, Sugar Mills, Dyeing houses, leather, lamination industries, Vanaspati units, Food Processing Units, Oil Extraction Units, Solvent Extraction Plant and many other plants and industries..

Furnace & Foundries : It can be used for metal heating & melting (where melting point is less than 1000d/cel.)

Brick Kilns : It is the total, substitute of steam coal.

Residential & Commercial Heating : For winter heating in Cold areas and Hotels, Canteens, Cafeterias and house hold kitchen appliances etc.

The process for producing charcoal briquette as follow:

1. Crush the raw material into small pieces (diameter is about 3-5mm)
2. Dry the material by machine, till the moisture is less than 12%
3. Put the material into feed let of briquette machine
4. Produce the briquette stick from biomass material without any additive
5. Carbonized the briquette stick

1)Crusher:

Introduction:

Wood crusher is the special chipping/crushing equipment for raw wood of 50-250mm( diameter).During the working process, the raw wood will be chipped, recrushed and sieved, the wood crusher combines both chipping and crushing in one machine to get the wood sawdust directly. 

The diameter of wood sawdust can reach to 2to5mm, which is suitable for further drying and briquetting, no need to use other wood chippers, 

wood crusher shows the advantage of precise structure, high capacity, energy consumption, highquality finished products, easy maintained, etc

Kindly remind: different kinds of crushing machine are needed according to the raw material.

2)Dryer:

Introduction:

 1.Air current type dryer is to control the moisture content of raw materials at 8-12%, suitable for making briquette. Too dry or too wet will make the briquette loose, can’t have high density. It is professionally designed for drying different kinds of wood sawdust

 2.The whole system consists of fan blower, motor engine, fuel boiler, steel pipe, cyclone and air lock. 

 3.In this sawdust dryer machine system, wet material is input into hopper by screw feeder. Fuel furnace produces large volume of hot air. 

The hot air is driven into steel pipes, mixed with wet sawdust and moved through curving pipes and drying chamber by the power of fan blower. 

Fast moving hot air sustains and is mixed with raw material sent by spiral feeder in the suspending state through the steel pipe; moisture evaporates as the material traverses along the steel pipe and is rendered dry at the discharge end. Humid air is continuously exhausted, thus the material is dried.

3)Briquette machine:

 Introduction:

1.Briquetting is a process during which raw materials are compressed under high pressure and high temperature. After the processing of drying and pressing, the briquette is characterized by high density, small in size, better combustion, capable as the substitute for the superior coal or firewood.

 2.The lignin content that occurs naturally in biomass is liberated under high pressure and temperature. Lignin serves as the glue in the briquetting process, thus binding, compressing the biomass to form into high density briquettes. During this process, no binder needs to be used. So the outputting briquette is a type of clean and green fuel that is ideal for use in furnaces, boilers and open fires

 4)Carbonization stove:

 Introduction:

1.Carbonization furnace is to carbonize the biomass briquette into wood charcoal.Carbonization furnace for biomass charcoal can greatly increased carbonizing ratio (increased from about 88% to 99%) and shortened the carbonizing time (from 24 hours to 6 hours), and shows the features of easy operation, higher safetyand energy saving.This furnace is ideal equipment for wood briquettes to have anoxic distillation carbonization.

 2.After carbonizing, the electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity will be enhanced; the graphite structure increased, fixed carbon content increased,calorific value higher, ash content lower, volatile material reduced, density higher, more solid etc.
