2 phase hybrid stepper motor controller with RS232 protocol (UIM241xx)
UIM24104/24108 are miniature, intelligent stepper motor controllers using the RS232 protocol for communicating with user devices/controllers. They can be mounted onto 42/57/86/110 series stepper motors seamlessly through corresponding flanges. The thickness of these controllers is less than 14 millimeter. The embedded high performance DSP microprocessor accepts user commands in ASCII code style through RS232 protocol. The structure of the instructions (I. E. Commands from user) is simple, straightforward and fault-tolerating. Users are not required to have the knowledge of stepper motor driving. Enclosures of UIM24104/24108 are made of die-cast aluminum which provide a rugged and durable protection to the controller and improve the heat dissipation.
