Proper use instructions

1. Be sure you have your pet under control before attempting to attach the retractable leash.

2. Fasten the leash hook onto the metal loop of your pets collar.

3. When leash is at a desired length, push the lock button forward with your thumb, this will cause the leash to lock. To release, slide the button backward. To temporarily hold your pet at a certain length, hold down the large black button with your thumb, and once released the leash will then begin to retract.

4. If the retractable leash seperates itself from your dog's collar during use, immediately turn your face away and instantly apply the brake button.
