Raw materials

Wood Pellets is mainly made of any wood waste and biomass particles, such as wood sawdust, wood shavings, wood chips, wood logs, straw, rice husk, coffee husk etc. At a wood pellet plant, raw material need to be well prepared before pelletizing, then get dried, compressed, and formed into small eraser-sized bits, the wood pellets get from wood pellet plant are clean, pleasant smelling and smooth to touch.

2.  Hammer mill

The hammer mill is a machine whose purpose is to crush materials by the collision between the high-speed hammer and materials. Our company chipping and crushing machine is your best choice. It mill raw material like tree branch, wood shavings, wood chips, wood logs, cotton stalk, corn stalk, wheat straw etc, with size less than 50mm (diameter). Aft pet food pellet machine er milled, the output size can reach diameter 3-5 mm, then it is pushed to next process to get dried and pelletized.

3.  Ring die palm fiber pellet mill----Drying process – Wood Sawdust rotary dryer

After crushing process, the wood and biomass material need to be well conditioned on moisture before pelletizing. The best moisture content to pelletizing is about 14-16%. Our rotary dryer is made up of burning stove and main rotary dryer which is high efficiency in drying the wood and biomass material. It use steam to heat air and contact material to remove certain degree of moisture. It is very important for wood pellet plant to using moisture detector which will determine the most suitable moisture before pelletizing.

FAQ: 

Before ordering, you should tell us:

1. What's your raw material? 

Like wood,sawdust,palm fiber etc.

2. What's the moisture content of the raw material?(This we should make sure the dryer machine uses or not.)

 If the moisture of raw material more than 20%,it  need drying first.

3. What's you raw material size?(This we should make sure whether the crushing machine is necessary or not.

 If the raw material size more than 6mm,it need grinder to crushing.

4. You should tell me whether you require the single machine or the flow chart?

 need cooler and packing machine or not

a.if length bigger than 8mm, it needs wood chipper for first crushing, then hammer mill for second crushing, making into sawdust for pelletizing directly.

b.if moisture content is more than 15%, it needs dryer or drying in the sun.

oler: after pelletizing process, if you want to pack pellets directly, we suggest cooler, otherwise, put pellets aside and making cooling in nature.

d.packing machine: you can pack pellets by this machine or by manual.
