Pin Type Insulator for high voltage(BS Standard):
Pin type insulator for high voltage:Consists of a single piece of ceramic or two or more ceramic components permanently connected together and intended to be mounted rigidly on a supporting structure by an insulator /spindle.Unless otherwise stated,this term does not include the insulator pin.Normally,they are used on overhead distribution lines of power system, and includes composite pin type insulators and porcelain pin type insulators. Voltage levels: 10kv, 11kv, 12kv, 15kv, 20kv, 22kv, 24kv, 30kv, 33kv, 35kv, 36kv Types: Standard pin insulators (IEC, ANSI, AS, BS, …), anti-pollution pin insulators.
Composite pin type insulator:Components: Silicone rubber, fiberglass, end fittings Strength: 4KN, 6KN, 8KN, 10KN, 11KN, 12KN, 12.5KN, 13KN… Models: Tie top composite pin insulators, clamp top pin insulators as per ANSI C29.11, ANSI C29.17, ANSI C29.18 and IEC61109.
Porcelain pin type Insulator: Components: One or multi pieces of porcelain parts with top groove and side groove, long or short insulator pin / spindle, Semi-conductor glaze, porcelain thread or thread with zinc sleeve Cantilever Strength: ANSI standard requires 11KN, 13KN failing load strength, and BS standard and IEC Standard only requires 10KN.
