 1. Introduction of Screw Sand Washer 

 The XL series screw sand washer is used for removing the dust and impurities mixed in the sand,applied to washing, grading and dehydration for sand. It aims at improving the quality of sand.developed on the basis of introducing foreign outstanding technology of the same kind of products.It is widely used for cleaning materials in the following industries: highway, water conservancy and quarry, minerals, construction, chemical industry, and hydropower, cement mixture station and so on.

2.Type of Screw Sand Washer 

According to the spiral blade at the flooding end, there are two type screw sand washer: 

1.the top side of spiral blade is higher than the flooding level and the center of the blade is lower than the flooding level. This type is used for classification of ore with flooding size between 0.83-0.15.

2. the whole spiral blade is immersed in the flooding level of the flooding end. The type is used for classification of ore with flooding size between 0.15-0.07mm.

3.Working Principle of Screw Sand Washer 

When the screw sand washer works, the motor drives the impeller to rotate slowly. While the dirt and impurities are removed by the added water, the large blocks are conveyed by the rotating impeller to the discharge chute.

Washing: The sand is feeding into the sediment pool from the feeding box, acting by rotating screw blade, the sand is turning and rolling and grinding each other to eliminate impurity and water-air layer around sand to facilitate de-water. The fresh eater rising current from the porous plate carry foreign matter to water surface and overflow the weir plate, to finish washing processing

De-watering: The sand with bigger density is sunken down to tub bottom, the screw blade push this sand upwards, when passing through upper tub of proper length above water level, the water is draining into sediment pool from another drainage ditch, the de-watered sand is out from the discharging opening.
