1.Wet/Dry Magnetic Separator Introduction:

2.On the shell surface, the magnet intensity is 100-600mt.The wet type permanent magnet cylindrical separator is commonly used for iron ore separation. 

3.It is suitable for separating materials with high magnetism. In recent years, it has been used as concentrating equipment in place of magnetic dewatering cell. 

2.Wet/Dry Magnetic Separators Structure

Permanent  wet magnetic separator mainly consists of such four parts as cylinder, magnetic system, cell and transmission parts.

3.Principle of Wet/Dry drum Magnetic Separator:

Mine Machinery Factory wet Magnetic Separator used for removing the non-magnetic minerals in the strong magnetic minerals. When the slurry is injected into the magnetic field, 

the strong magnetic mineral is adsorbed on the cylinder surface, the weak magnetic and non-magnetic minerals are successively excluded, the strong magnetic minerals adsorbed on the cylinder 

was taken out of the magnetic field with the rotation of the cylinder. The rotating one is suitable for dry sorting of fine strong magnetic mineral, for the role of high-speed rotation, the amount of rolling of the

magnetic particles in Wet magnetic separation is much larger than the ordinary magnetic separator. 

It has a significant the effect for the destruction of magnetic agglomeration and improves the high-grade ore. There are two kinds of sorted materials: magnetic material and non-magnetic material, machine is suitable for roughing and selecting materials whose size are 3-0mm.

4.Wet/Dry Magnetic Separator Applications

5.Features of wet/dry Magnetic separator

When the raw materials flow into the tank body of the wet drum magnetic separator , 

1: firstly, the flowing direction of the raw materials is the same as the rotary direction of the 

magnetic drum, the iron magnetite materials are attracted to the surface of drum. This is the first 

separation. 

2: In the second step, the flushing water below flush the raw materials back for the second separation. 

This time the flowing direction of the raw materials is opposite to the rotary direction of the magnetic 

drum. 

3: Then along with the rotation of drum, the iron magnetite materials on the surface of drum will finally leave 

 the magnetic field and fall to the ore concentrate box under gravity. Also, the flushing water above helps to flush the iron magnetite into the ore concentrate box. 

4: The weak magnetic and nonmagnetic materials can not be attracted and will flow to the discharg pipe for tailings.
