Center Pivot and Lateral Move irrigation systems are composed of self-propelled structures equipped with sprinkler irrigation and control elements which make it possible to irrigate large surfaces (15-100ha) with low installation and maintainment costs.

The structures are composed by several pipe sections connected to a water intake, located approximately 4mabove the ground and suspended o­n towers, spaced between 30 to 60 m apart.
