Introduction:

On the principle of the advanced counter flow cooling, SKLN series counter flow cooler is equipped with a reciprocating grate type discharging device, which is characterized by its smooth material flowing and uniform discharging

The octagon cooling bin has eliminated dead cooling corner, which is beneficial to the cooling treatment of materials.

The cooled pellet is ≤3-5℃

Working principle:

The hot and wet pellets which come from the Pellet Press enter into the cooler from the Air Lock on the top of cooler and through taper type distributor equipment which can make pellets to different top, bottom, left, right and middle parts enter in the cooler.

     When Cooler starts to work, the pellets will be accumulated gradually. When the position of pellets arrives to Level Detector, the brake motor will be connected to start work. It through Reducer and eccentric mechanism to drive the Discharge Frame to move from left to right to discharge the materials. When the relative position between Movement Discharge Frame and Fixed Frame reaches certain extent., the materials will fall down and discharge from the gap between Movement Discharge Frame and Fixed Frame. When the relative position between Movement Discharge Frame and Fixed Frame are staggered, the materials will not be discharged. The materials will be intermittent discharged during the process of cycled movement. When the quantity of discharge is larger than feed-in, the pellets will reduce and leave the position of Level Sensor, motor will stop work and the discharge will be end. When pellets touch the Level Sensor, the motor will start to work  and start a now discharge process which can guarantee the continuous cooling production.

      Fan is always running during the whole cooling process. The pellets in the cooler flow from top to bottom and the Air flows from bottom to top. The above two flow positions are opposite which can form counter-flow cooling. Therefore, this Cooler belongs to counter-flow type. The pellets will stay in the cooler for some time, the natural air will enter into the cooler from the bottom. It will make heat exchange through the material’s layer in the body of Cooler. The fan will pump the Air and take out of the heat and moisture. It can realize the functions of Cooling and reduce the moisture at the same time.

Application:

 SKLN Series feed pellet cooler adopts the convection between natural air and materials and adopts the counter-flow cooling theory to cool the high temperature and wet pellets. Cooling air and materials touch with each other, converse and vertically go through the material layer, gradually changing hot air and hot materials touch with each other, through hot exchange, pellets will be gradually cooled clockwise, hot air will be abstracted from the Cyclone Separator of fan which is on the top of cooler. It is able to avoid that cooling air and hot material directly touch with each other and prevent that pellets will be cooled so fast that cause the pellets to dehisce.

Maintenance and Examination:

  To prolong the life time for the Cooler and guarantee continuous work, you should take care of the maintenance and pay attention to the following instructions:

1.Always keep the shell of cooler clean.

2.Check whether the components of air lock feeder are damaged. If there is something wrong, check and solve them.

3.Always check the wearing situation of moving discharge frame and fixed discharge frame, whether the reciprocating movement of moving discharge frame is flexible. If there is something wrong, check and solve them.

4.Always keep the bearings (Include bearings on the motors) lubricative. You should add and change oil termly. And always check the wearing situations of bearings. If there is something wrong, check and solve them.

5.Always check the cooling air system. If find air leak, pipe jam, wearing parts, etc, solve them immediately.

6.When stop the machine, you should clean the remnants in the machine which can avoid to leave musty materials in the machine.
