This sand dryer machine is widely used in building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry and cement industry to dry the stuff such as biomass, sawdust, limestone, coal powder, slag, clay and so on.

The dryer is shaped as a horizontally inclined rotating cylinder. Material is fed at feed port and discharged at the output port. In direct-type rotary drum dryer, hot air move through the cylinder in direct contact with the material, either with or against the direction of its flow. The rotary drum dryer is equipped with scatters, which lift the materials and make materials touched the hot air completely.

The sand dryer machine is mainly composed of cylinder, under frame, feeding and discharging devices, transmission device, gear cover, etc. (Optional auxiliary equipment includes combustion chamber, feeder and discharging device, and dust collection equipment). Rotary drier manufactured by us adopts new lifting plate, which is of functions like guiding, current-sharing, and material rising. The materials are raised and evenly drop so that they are in full contact with heat for better drying efficiency. Our rotary drier is designed with the best working conditions, which enables it to save 10-15% of energy and increase 10-15% of productivity compared with common dryers.

Working principle

The raw material transport into the hopper by belt conveyor or bucket elevator, and then through the hopper feeder and loading pipes into the feed end .The feeding pipe slope is bigger than the natural inclination of raw material, so that the raw material can easy into the dryer. The rotary dryer is a horizontal line slightly tilted to the rotation of the cylinder, feeding the material from higher part. The Raw material from the higher end put into dryer, hot air can from the same direction or different direction into dryer. With the turning of dryer the material moving to the lower end, the slowly moving process is drying process, at the same time the wet Raw material full contact hot air and evaporation water, when the drying process finished used the belt conveyor transport out. On the walls of raw material dryer body is equipped with lifting plate, they are used to lifting the raw material and dispersion to make the raw material fully contact with hot air, improve the drying effect and promote the material advance.
