Discharge valve was widely used in foodstuff, light industry, metallurgy, chemical and other areas, which are related to powder or granular materials.

 Discharge valve can be divided into gate or valve according to work forms, gate can be applied to rectangular flange in en masse conveyor or square flange in chute. According to the power, gate valve can be divided into manual and pneumatic, electric three categories. Inlets and outlets of the gate can be square and rectangle, but the valve is square.

Main Features

In normal pressure and no electrical signals,  the valve is in a limit position. When the electromagnetic valve has electrical signals, it opens, compressed air come into the cylinder, push the piston to drive the gate opening or valve reversing (then cut off the power), gate valve to maximum when the spool stops, the cylinder pressure is maintained, while the other end of the electromagnetic valve is electrified, the electromagnetic valve opens, the cylinder exhaust, compressed air from the other end into the cylinder pushes the piston drives the gate to close or valve reversing.

Control System
Pneumatic-Each flap plate has its own pneumatically operated cylinder and solenoid valve. The timing of the valve is controlled by an electronic signal sent to the solenoid valves. This method of operation is the most expensive and allows for accurate timing of the valve.
Stages:

Stage One:-Both Flap Closed
Stage Two:-Upper Flap opens , Material pours in upper valve.
Stage Three:-Upper Flap Closes , Material Collected in upper valve.
Stage Four:-Bottom Flap opens , Material pours in conveying line.
