1.The tape is extremely thin with a depth of just 3mm. It has a 3M selfadhesive backing so is easily applied to most smooth surfaces by simply removing the backing paper

2.The LEDs used in the tape are 3 Chip SMD LEDs like the ones uses to backlight the screens of the latest Mobile Phones and MP4 Players

3.The LEDs are encapsulated in resin for a splashproof seal

4.There are 60 RGB LEDs per meter and  you can control each LED individually.This is a digital addressable type  of LED strip. You can set the color of each LED's such as, red, green and blue 

5.The tape can be cut or joined and connections and cutting points are at 1 LED
