Features and Uses:

Water Crackle coating is the green environmentally-friendly coating that is used with our water based paint for handicraft and toy and water based resin coating.

It is nontoxic,odourless,non-combustible and unexploded and has strong color,size and texture were controlled by you .

The product was used for the architectural decoration,the cars’interior,the room decoration,the handicraft and toy,etc.

Method of Application:

The surface must be clean,dry,oil-free and firm.Stir well before use.

This product could be applied by brush,roller or spray.

Preparation before Application:

The place for application should be clean and never have the oil and organic solvent, Otherwise the painting effect will be influenced.The sample that does not need to paint should be away from the place during the Spraying time.

Application Process:

a.Brush the primer (our water based resin coating) on the based material that is rubbed smoothly,clean and dry .For example:please brush firstly the red color primer on the based material if you need to appear the small grain of red when the crackle paint is cleaving.

b.Brush the LV-88 water based crackle paint after the primer is drying (about 2 to 4 hours according to the temperature and the humidity).The dryness of the crackle paint is set by users’ demands.Usually about 70-80% drying,the effect is the best.(the dryness does not affect cracking,and just affect the crackle’s size and texture).

c.Brush the top coat on the crackle paint.The top coat is our water based colored paint that is prepared for the crackle paint.It will form the crackle after the top coat makes reaction with the middle layer.

Control of Crackle’s Pattern:

After top paint was coated by the different application processes,a variety of crackles were formed.

When brushing by hand,pattern of crackle proceeded from brush marks;while spraying or rolling,even and irregular crackle was produced.

Control of Crackle’s Size:

If the films of the middle LV-88 crackle paint and the top paint of all colors was brushed thicker,and the temperatue gets high (mustn’t be above 60°C)

when application,the crackle will be bigger.Otherwise,it will be smaller.

If you need especially small crackle,you could add 10-20% clean water in the crackle paint and 10-15% clean water in the top coat.Both of the paint should be brushed thinner,and the crackle will be even and small.

Attention:

1. Make sure the water based paints of the bottom,middle and top layers are produced by us.
2. Do not mix with the lacquer thinner and other paints.
3. Avoid application under the condition of the temperature below 10°C and the humidity over 80%.
4. Use the primer that is suitable with the wooden based materials when doing above application.If there are other kinds of the based materials,you should use the primer that is suitable with them.
