Product Description
Oil sorbent mat is one of the important devices for treating oil spills in water. The mechanical recovery devices can be used to recovery the thicker oil spills in urgent oil spill control operation firstly, and then the oil absorbent mat can be used to absorb the thinner oil spills in water. The oil absorbent mat also can be used to absorb oil spills in water where mechanical recovery devices cannot recovery oil spills or the oil dispersant can be not used
Features
- 1. Light specific weight, floatable on water
- 2. Strongly lipophilic and hydrophobic, it absorbs only oily substances on and in water ,but it dose not absorb water
- 3. It can retain oil excellently, can be used repeatedly and has a long shelf life
- 4. This product is non-toxic and has no smell. It dose not cause aquatic products to be contaminated and does not create toxic gas in burning and disposal
- 5. PP-1 is mainly used to recover light oils, oils with low and medium viscosity and the volatile chemical liquids with light specific weight.PP-2 is suitable for absorbing oils of higher viscosity
