KYN Motor Control Center
With today’s large and medium-sized industrial installations using MV motors to drive their plants, the controlgear must provide maximum reliability and minimum down time.
To meet these specific requirements, KYN MCC supplements our KYN switchgear range.
The KYN MCC is a slimline design which lines up directly with the KYN range without interface cubicles. The design philosophy and operation are similar to the KYN switchgear range, helping reduce training time and minimize the risk of improper use. The combination of KYN & KYN MCC provides the total solution for power plants, process plants and Oil & Gas applications.
Extensive Features
Combining many of the standard KYN family features, the KYN MCC offers the following highlights:
• Easy access front or rear, top and bottom
main cabling
• Electrically held or latched contactors
• Up to 1 million switching operations
• Intelligent Control & Protection
• BS or DIN type main circuit fuses
• Full 1 second IAC rating (including the truck compartment)*. A FL(R)
• Slimline cubicle construction

Combined with Schneider/ABB intelligent control and protection device, KYN MCC provides class leading performance for MV motor control centers. This combination is ideal for integration into an overall process control solution.
