Bamboo charcoal kiln:

There are two kinds bamboo charcoal kiln in our factory:

1) Natural type bamboo charcoal kiln

2) Airflow type bamboo charcoal kiln

Raw materials of bamboo charcoal kiln:

1) Tree branches, Bark, Leaves.

2) Some nut shells, such coconut shell, walnut shell, palm shell, peanut shell, etc.

3) Wood, sawdust, wood briquettes, wood pieces, etc.

4) Corn cob.

5) Brown coal 

6) Straw, rice straw, wheat straw, etc.

7) Rice husk, wheat husk, etc.

Type-I Natural Type bamboo charcoal kiln:

Natural type bamboo charcoal kiln is like our old kind clay carbonization kiln. Although it

has longer carbonization time, it has better carbonization effect. This type carbonization

kiln working principle is quite simple. It only uses incompletely burning, after raw material

in the furnace beng set on fire, we need to closed all holes on the furnace. At the beginging,

we need the raw material's burning to creat heat. The temperature can be at about 100℃ at

first, when the temperature reaches about 350 ℃, raw material will be decomposed into 

carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, etc. This type carbonization kiln need about 6-8 hours

to turn bamboo into bamboo charcoal. Then we need to cool bamboo charcoal in the

furnace for about 6 hours. 

Type-II Airflow bamboo charcoal kiln:

Airflow bamboo charcoal kiln is our most popular product, it uses the advanced thermal 

airflow carbonization technology. Which greatly increases carbonization rate, carbonization

rate is improved to 99%. And the carbonization time improve to 6 hours. Airflow bamboo

charcoal kiln is convenient operation, good safety, high efficiency. Airflow bamboo charcoal

kiln can save a lot of energy, so it is good to environmental protection.( The residual volatile

substances in the charcoal can discharge, which increases the carbon content of charcoal,

improves graphite structure, engances electrical conductivity.

The carbonization time of airflow type bamboo charcoal kiln only need about 3hours per

cycle. And it has large production capacity. If you have large production capacity, we can

Features of carbonization kiln;

Working precess of natural bamboo charcoal kiln:

1) Drying stage: First, we should set fire on wood, tree branches, wood briquettes, etc.

(which we have laid in the furnace) through four holes which locate furnace's bottom. 

Then close the holes. And close the upper holes till the thermometer (which loactes 

on the surface of thr furnace) reaches 180°C. At this stage, the temperature in the 

furnace will reach about 100-160°C, and all the water content will be evaporated.

2) Initial phase of carbonization: At this stage, the temperature in the furnace will 

reach 350-400°C, wood, tree branches, wood briquettes, etc. will be decomposed 

into carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, etc.

3) Carbonization stage: At this stage, the temperature will reach 800-1000°C, wood,

tree branches, wood briquettes,etc. will be decomposed rapidly and finally carbonized 

into charcoal.

4) Carbonization time: 3-6hours (Carbonize briquette in furnace about 3hours,then cool 

them about 3 hours in the furnace)

If our raw material is in small size, such as sawdust, thin shell, how to carbonize it in

bamboo charcoal kiln efficiently?

Dear customer, if your raw material is too small , and you also want to make good quality

charcoal. You'd better not carbonize it in bamoo charcoal kiln directly. Because of its low

density, the carbonization effect is not as good as high density biomass briquettes. So I

suggest you choosing a biomass briquette machine to make small size raw material into

biomass briquette before you carbonizing it.

The workflow is like this: small raw material→Hammer Crusher→Biomas briquette

machine→Biomass briquettes→Bamboo charcoal Kiln→Charcoal
