The principal and structure of explosion-proof thermocouple are similar to those of the assembly type. The difference between them is that the junction box of the former takes a special explosion-proof structure as shown in the figure. The junction box is made by die-casting so it has enough thickness, explosion-proof space and mechanical strength. Because the box takes the explosion-proof thread and the cylinder-shaped joint interfaces.
