To achieve bainitic steel, the steel casting is austenitized and fast cooled to bainitic transformation temperature range (260 ~ 400 ℃) for long-time isotherm, which changes austenite into Bainitic transformation with higher strength and toughness. With the same hardness, the wear resistance of bainite is obviously better than martensite, so obtaining bainite matrix in the iron and steel material is the aim people pursuing.
