Anti-corrosion pipe (alias: anti-corrosion steel pipe) is a steel pipe processed by anti-corrosion process, mainly used to prevent or slow down the corrosion phenomenon caused by chemical and electrochemical reactions, and the base material includes Q235B, Q345B, 16Mn and other low-alloy steels.

Its anti-corrosion technology covers IPN8710, FBE epoxy powder, 2PE/3PE, epoxy coal asphalt, high-density polyethylene coat, silicone high temperature and other types, and implements industry standards such as SY/T0413-2002.

The products are widely used in oil, natural gas, chemical industry, heat transmission, municipal water supply and drainage, sewage treatment, west-to-east gas transmission, south-to-north water diversion and other major projects.

In 2024, China's demand for anti-corrosion steel pipes will reach 35.6559 million tons, and the demand is expected to increase to 17.49 million tons in 2025 [2]. The production process of anti-corrosion pipes includes raw material inspection, pipe body rust removal, anti-corrosion coating (spraying or dipping), curing treatment (baking or natural curing) and packaging sales.

3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe adopts three-layer polyethylene structure technology, which has mechanical damage resistance and corrosion resistance, and is used in the transformation of long-distance oil and gas pipelines and urban pipeline networks.

The upstream of the industry involves the supply of steel and anti-corrosion materials, the downstream covers infrastructure construction, and the technology trend is developing towards composite materials, nanomaterials and environmentally friendly coatings.
