Brick Mesh

Brick mesh is a kind of mesh panel dedicated for concrete and it can be divided into two types, one is welded cold-drawn low carton steel wire and the other is galvanized after welded.

Brick mesh is widely used in the large-area plastering engineering as the plastering underlay, in order to avoid craking and resist vibrations. The column is made of concrete and has low costs, low intensity and high stability.

The colored coating is corrosion resistant and decorative impression.The brick mesh looks harmonious and beautiful.

It has the continuous length of joint reinforcement that are embedded into the horizontal mortar joints of masonry walls,

Joint reinforcement has long proven to be necessary for superior performance of masonry wall construction.

Material: It is made of Glavanized Steel, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Zinc(99% pure zinc) Alloy.

Features:It is  easy to operate, and can form an overall construction with great tensile strength, the pressure resistance, vibration-proof and bearing the temperature change.

Weaving: Woven and welded.

Applications: Brick mesh also has many applications in construction, in the ground, the back wall, and so on.

Type one

Is designed specifically as a structural product for laterally loaded panels, however, it also offers excellent crack control properties.

Avaliable in galvanized & stainless steel grade 304 S15 in 3.15m length in any width.

Type two:

is designed for use in double leaf collar jointed walls, it also alleviates the problems inherent with the use of large blocks by allowing the contractor to tie two smaller blocks together.It is manufactured in galvanized & stainless steel grade 304 S15 with 4mm diameter flattened main wires and 20x3mm flat cross ties.Available in 3.15m length in any width.

Type three:

Is designed to reinforce both leaves of a cavity wall whilst incorporating and placing the brick tie at accurate 450mm centres.Available with both round wire and 20x3mm flat ties with drip.

Manufactured from galvanized& stainless steel grade 304 S15.

Available in 3.15m lengths in any width.

How to Install Brick Mesh

The brick mesh is laid in strips between brick or block courses leaving approximately 25mm clearance from the faces of the work. Where brick mesh joins are required, ensure they overlap by at least 75mm.

The reinforcement is then simply embedded in the mortar for the next course.

In most instances, application every third course, for the full length of the wall, will be sufficient

To reinforce brickwork at an opening, e.g. window or door, mesh should be installed to overlap part of the opening, and part of the solid wall.

Thinking of the width of the opening, lay the mesh approximately a quarter of the way across the opening. The mesh should lie the same distance again, across the solid wall.

Above windows or doors, install Catnic mesh for 2-3 courses, starting from the course above the lintel as shown below.
