Detection method:

1. Indicators Manufacturers offer. Activated carbon commonly indicators are: iodine adsorption value, (CTC) adsorption, methylene blue adsorption value. The iodine adsorption value is used to indicate the adsorption capacity of the liquid substance, carbon tetrachloride adsorption value is used to represent the adsorption capacity of activated carbon for gas, and adsorption value of methylene blue was used to denote the decolorization ability of the activated carbon. These three indexes higher, indicating that the adsorption capacity of the activated carbon is stronger. So you can refer to indicators provided by the manufacturer of activated carbon to buy for your own use.

2. Activated carbon volume. In order to improve the adsorption performance of activated carbon, only as much as possible to make the pore structure, pore number on activated carbon, relative density will be more light, so in the same weight packing case, activated carbon with good performance than inferior activated carbon with large volume of many.
