According to the different application characteristics in gold industry, coconut shell activated carbon for gold extraction can be divided into three categories: activated carbon for conventional CIP(OY-CC), activated carbon for plastic CIP(OY-ZC) and activated carbon for heap leaching(OY-DQ).

Activated carbon for conventional CIP: It uses high temperature steam activation, refined by crushing, screening, pieces removing, winnowing etc. It is suitable to CIP adsorption technology.

Activated carbon for plastic CIP: on the basis of the activated carbon for conventional CIP, we use special technology, proceeding high-strength plastic of the activated carbon particles, almost removing all the needle-like, angular and other easy-abrasion parts. The particle has full and uniform shape, which greatly improves the abrasion resistance of the product. The customers can use it directly after water washing without the need of pre-grinding.

Activated carbon for heap leaching: It uses high temperature steam activation, has larger pore structure, suitable for the use of static adsorption column of heap leaching technology in gold mine and the recovery of precious metals in gold jewelry industry wastewater.
