PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION - CLEANING
The combined movements of rotation and translation of the boom causing each nozzle
describes a helix, whose pitch is 100mm. Because there are two opposing nozzles installed and lagged
at jib step is described being 50 mm during the advance. In reverse
direction of movement of the boom there is an index of 25 mm, making the gap becomes final
being 25 mm which is the step of blowing the boom. Figure 2.
Another peculiarity is that depending on the characteristics of the boiler (the region where the blower is
installed), we can set a speed of advance and return ideal in the following options: 0.8 /
1.8 / 2.5 / 3.5 m / min.
With these resources, the operation of the equipment can be configured to save
steam and electricity, not to offend (erosion) boiler tubes, and promote a perfect
cleaning, thus minimizing the number of sopragens daily.
